Katie Taylor is currently responsible for marketing, impact evaluation, and other strategic projects at Main Street Launch. Katie’s nonprofit career has been primarily focused on supporting under-resourced entrepreneurs, including Millennial entrepreneurs as National Program Director at Mobilize.org and women-owned, Latina-owned businesses as Director of Talent Development at Women’s Initiative for Self Employment. In addition to her nonprofit experience, Katie found herself as an “accidental entrepreneur” for several years, working as a dance teacher and studio manager, as well as a dance company board member and Business Manager. Katie holds a B.A. in Public Policy and Spanish and Hispanic Studies from William Smith College in New York. A Bay Area native, Katie loves shopping and eating at Oakland-based businesses, especially those that her dog can also visit.
