Richard Morris is the AVP – Senior Program Manager. He supports the management of the African American Entrepreneurship Institute along with other special projects and lending programs focused on African American entrepreneurs and other historically disadvantaged small business owners in Stockton, Oakland, and San Francisco.

Previously, Richard worked as an executive of Solar Energy Collective where he managed the finance and human resources departments. Before SEC, Richard was with BBVAUSA as the Branch Manager of several branches where he was known for his community involvement and educational seminars around the importance of financial literacy.

Richard holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a BA in Sociology from San Jose State University. When Richard isn’t in the office, he’s usually planning an outdoor activity or choosing his next vacation to a foreign country with his wife and three daughters. Another fun fact about Richard is that he is an identical twin.
