Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) support local economies by investing in under-invested areas. Main Street Launch is proud to be a CDFI serving low-to-moderate income communities in Oakland and San Francisco.
The CDFI Fund identifies counties across the country that experience “persistent poverty” (defined as any county that has had 20% or more of its population living in poverty over the last 30 years). California has three Persistent Poverty Counties (PPC): Fresno County, Imperial County, and Tulare County.
Veteran Launch, a program of Main Street Launch serving military family-owned businesses across California, is specifically targeting services in Fresno, Imperial, and Tulare Counties. If you are a military family-owned business or know any veterans or military spouses who own businesses, we’d love to meet them. You can email updates@veteranlaunch.org to learn more about our services statewide.
