Diane Lewis

Diane rejoins Main Street Launch as Business Outreach Manager, part of the Merchant Directory outreach team.  Diane’s work is concentrated in District 7, deep East Oakland neighborhoods, along MacArthur Boulevard, Bancroft Avenue, San Leandro Street, International Boulevard and 98^th Avenue.  Diane develops collaborative relationships with business owners to educate and inform them about taking part in the new directory Shop Oakland Now. Her outreach efforts include canvassing, interviewing, writing descriptions of the business for the directory, taking photos of the business and products, and keeping in touch with the business owners. She is also responsible for a tracking vacancies of District 7 commercial spaces.

A native of Oakland, Diane has worked for over 25 years with medical groups, health plans, workforce development, and nonprofit organizations. She’s held leadership roles in community outreach, business development, sales, and marketing throughout Alameda County, Los Angeles, and Chicago. She works diligently advocating for the LGBT community, Seniors, and Alzheimer patients and recently joined the Black Alzheimer Association Advisory Committee of Northern California and Nevada.

Diane is most passionate about health and wellness, her two sons, and Warrior’s basketball. She is excited about helping others realize their full potential and has opened her own coaching business, leading vision board workshops and retreats.
