Guillermo joined Main Street Launch Small Business Finance as Intern – Impact Evaluation. He now supports the finance and compliance team. This work includes supporting the loan closing process, tracking organizational financial performance, and other administrative tasks critical to keeping the organization running smoothly.

Guillermo has experience serving his community in legislative offices in Sacramento and San Francisco. He worked as a principal staffer to bills and conducted research and outreach to guide bills through the political process. The culmination of his work came late 2012 when his poverty resolution AJR 40 was chartered by the Legislature. He currently serves as a tutor for College Track Oakland and is a proud UC Santa Cruz Banana Slug. On his time off Guillermo enjoys watching football, being outdoors, and cast iron cooking.
