Shan Dai is currently responsible for reviewing and underwriting SBA community advantage and SBA microloan products. Shan also conducts research on and outreach activities towards Chinese communities in the Bay Area. Shan joined OBDC as a Financial Analysis Intern while she was pursing her M.B.A. degree at San Francisco State University. As an intern Shan conducted quantitative studies on the organization’s loan portfolio. Besides her experience at OBDC, Shan has two years of human resources management experience and two years of US accounting experience in the commercial property management industry. Shan holds an M.A. in Applied Linguistics from Beijing Language & Culture University (Beijing, China) and an M.B.A. from San Francisco State University. As an immigrant from China that has planted roots in Oakland, Shan is excited to have a job that can have a positive impact on her adopted home – the SF Bay Area.
