Main Street Launch has a deep desire to help the local communities by helping small businesses thrive. As an Air Force Veteran myself, I especially love to give back to my fellow vets after they served the U.S.A.
In what ways do you work with our clients? What’s a brief description of your role at Main Street Launch?
I assist with the veteran and active military population throughout the State of California. One in ten small businesses are owned by a veteran, so there is a huge number of small businesses that we can assist with loans from $25,000 to $250,000. My job specifically is to help get the word out to the community and to use my 20 plus years of experience as an SBA lender to assist the borrowers in putting together a financing package. Then I assist our loan closers to help our clients get their loan funded.
What inspires or motivates you about your work with borrowers?
There are so many well-educated people at Main Street Launch that choose to work for a non-profit just so they can really make a difference in the community. I think that is very noble.
What do you enjoy about working at Main Street Launch?
I love the overall atmosphere in the office. Our team is genuinely happy to be there because they are really making a difference.
