If you have fewer than 50 full-time equivalent employees, you are not required to provide health insurance and will not be responsible for fees. However, you should still review the options and decide what will make the most sense for you and for your business.
Remember: open enrollment closes on January 15 for plans effective February 1 and January 31 for plans effective March 1. Determining what health insurance option makes the most sense for you and your business has an impact not just on you, but on budgeting, planning, and revenue goals for the year. Take the time this week to finalize your selections so you can finalize your plans for 2016.
