By now we’ve celebrated Thanksgiving, participated in Plaid Friday, shopped on Small Business Saturday, and hit up online retailers on Cyber Monday. For all your shopping needs for the remainder of the holiday season, consider shopping small. In Oakland and San Francisco, there are some useful maps and guides to figure out where to shop.
Oakland put together the Oakland Indie Shopping Guide for Plaid Friday. It’s centered around Downtown, stretch north into Temescal and south into Jack London.
Eventbrite put together a guide for San Francisco and Oakland called Your Guide to Shopping Small in the Bay. It targets the Mission, Hayes Valley and NOPA, the Haight, the Marina, and Oakland.
