The Market on Market recently opened in San Francisco, offering retail space to local food businesses, as well as a centralized place for San Franciscans to shop local for groceries. On their site, The Market reminisces about the role of food in our social lives, from buying a cut of meat from your local butcher while hearing the gossip of the day, to eating across the table from your loved ones. The Market’s intention to create community in their new space is captured in their tagline: “Local food. Organic conversation”.
Vendors may rotate, but will all be local, Bay Area businesses. You can grocery shop or drop by for a prepared meal. The participating businesses are on The Market website.
We’re so excited that one of our clients, Nuubia SF, is located at The Market. Nuubia offers delicious treats and runs an intentional, ethical business, resulting in being labeled “Wildlife Friendly”, “Gorilla Friendly”, and “Palm-Oil Free”. The Market is open late, so you can drop in from 10am-10pm to grab a snack!
Congratulations to The Market for opening, and thank you for celebrating local food entrepreneurs!
