Veteran Launch Year-End Update
As we near the end of the year, we are celebrating the partnerships and collaborations that help veteran-owned small businesses start and grow.
We’re grateful to JPMorgan Chase for their $1.2 million investment into Veteran Launch. We look forward to leveraging this resource to support more veterans throughout California. Click here to read our press release.
Through Main Street Launch’s 2017 CDFI Fund award, Veteran Launch has $230,405 in loan capital designated for small businesses operating in California’s three Persistent Poverty Counties: Imperial, Fresno, and Tulare. If you or any entrepreneurs you know could benefit from these programs, please contact us.
We celebrated Veterans Day with several Sacramento-area veterans and partners, includingCalifornia Capital Financial Development Corporation, Women Veterans Alliance, Region IX VBOC, and The Capital Region SBDC. Thanks to our partners for co-hosting Salute to Service with us, and thank you also to the Sacramento Kings for collaborating on the event.
To date, we’ve funded 53 veteran-owned companies with $7.3 million of loan capital. These businesses have created and sustained 500 jobs, offering opportunities to other veterans as employees and as vendors.
If you have questions about your business development, don’t hesitate to give us a call. If we can connect you with resources to help you, we will.
Click here to download our 2017 flyer, and please forward it to any veterans and military spouses you know who may need support for their small business.
