Last week OBDC staff and board members visited some of the innovative Oakland businesses we have funded and supported. The group toured each business, learning about their work, viewing their space, and hearing first-hand how a loan from OBDC has supported their growth and development.
The inspiring businesses we visited were:
Honeycomb Panels – Honeycomb Panels fabricates aluminum panels that can be used for a variety of design and construction applications. The Honeycomb Panels team works out of a warehouse in East Oakland.
Mark Ryan Fine Arts – Mark Ryan Fine Arts is located on Piedmont Avenue in Oakland. This business offers fine art display services that include mounting, framing, and finishing.
HUB Oakland – HUB Oakland is a new and exciting co-working space, entrepreneurial incubator, and community gathering place. HUB is currently located on Broadway in downtown Oakland.
At OBDC we love the opportunity to see local enterprises in action. We provide business development services and funding to such a diverse group of businesses.
